Cynthia B. Brooks has more than 22 years of professional experience in her career. Currently, Cynthia is the CEO of an assisted living facility located in the state of Virginia, a business established by her mother 30 years ago. The facility is the middle man between a nursing home and a hospital.
Cynthia's main role is to oversee the operation and the staff, a staff of 13 and 27 residents that she helps provide care for. She says she wears many hats, you name it and she is doing it from housekeeping to dietary. Cynthia was prompted to get involved in this profession because she wanted to continue on her moms legacy. Cynthia mom was a strong passionate woman who taught her girls to work hard and always value yourself.
Cynthia's areas of expertise are communication, leadership and providing care. She is affiliated with Virginia's American Association group. Cynthia does public speaking in terms of in house staff meetings, and presentations. Cynthia has been recognized for her many accomplishments over the years from peers.
In the next few years Cynthia plans to continue to grow, continue to develop and continue to make a difference in the field. She bases her success on her passion and is most proud of how far she has grown in her career and where she is headed. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
