Dalia Elizabeth Ayala Islas has over 15 years of experience in her field, and is an independent Environmental Consultant. She researches extensively and works on projects pertaining to water management, flora, fauna and ecological concerns. She designs workshops and courses for her clients, and compiles reports and proposals, writing extensively. Having always loved envirionmental science, Dalia felt it was part of her social responsibility to help make the world a better place. She holds a master's degree in Birds Distribution and Conservation from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM), and is a member of the Association of Birds, UCN, Conservation Strategies for Birds, Conservaton Growth Forest, and Bostantiva. Looking ahead, Dalia plans to finish the thesis for the PhD and will continue to explore new pathways to sustainability in Mexico. She has been featured in scientific papers, and credits her success to hard work, empathy, and listening to others.
