Dana McArthur is the Attorney Mediation and Arbitrator at McArthur Mediation. Her legal career has been wide ranging and given her a broad perspective on the practice of law. She began her career as a civil litigator and has tried complex cases on both sides of the docket. She then transitioned into a mediation and arbitration practice when her children were born.
As a mediator, Dana’s job requires her to be an empathetic listener, problem solver and counselor. After 17 years in the ADR arena, she considers herself to be an expert in case evaluation and negotiation. Her background and the length and breadth of her career makes her a perfect mentor for younger female professionals. She would also like to share her experience with attorneys in Europe where there is a growing market for alternative dispute resolution. Dana has been practicing law for over 20 years and has worked at her own firm for the last 8 years. when not working she enjoys traveling and reading.
