Darlene Shearer is the President of Tektac, Inc., which employs 6 other employees. She started as Secretary Treasurer, continued to wear many hats therein learning the business for her present role. Prior to Tektac, Inc. she moved her way up from top to bottom with clerk typing, quality control, tooling, research, supplying, and setting standards. She was also previously a Director for Tech, Inc. in 1985.
Darlene maintains a positive outlook on life. She believes you are able to master anything with goals, with-holding an intense desire for knowledge, believing in honesty, working to improve the world, and helping others to succeed.
Outside of work, Darlene is concerned about mentoring troubled teens. She is also active with the church in her hometown and the Jewish Child Care Crises Center. Currently, she is hoping to eventually begin her own non-profit organization. She also intends to use the networking at WAoFP to maintain her business initiatives.
