Dasha Kinelovsky is Arts and Sciences Department Head at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Dasha has 15 years of experience in her career. She supervises a team of 27 faculty and staff and is responsible for course assignments, professional development and workshops. Dasha runs the continuing education branch as well. Dasha is LEAN trained and certified. She holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics from Indiana University Bloomington and is currently pursuing her Ed.D. During her graduate studies, Dasha was one of two graduate students honored to work on the NSF grant funded project: Math Throughout Curriculum and the Marco Polo Project from MCI. Dasha attributes her success to her drive and passion for education and she views every misstep as a learning opportunity. Her native language is Russian and she speaks fluent English and some French. Dasha devotes time to local animal shelters. She enjoys gardening, swimming, hiking and playing with her two cats.
