Deborah A. Kaplan is running for the position of Lower Southampton Township Supervisor, Bucks County Pennsylvania. Having previously held the position before, she is up for reelection this year and is and impassioned and driven advocate for her community. Currently on the Board of Supervisors for the Township, Deb is part of the governing body for all planning and zoning and ordinances across the township. She is also a member of the commonwealth and crisis teams, a victim crisis worker and a decision maker on committees including the Library Strategic Planning Committee (Board Member), and the Township Planning Committee. A former police officer and behavioral health advocate, Deb is involved in Opioid Awareness in the community and her township was the first Township under the Drug and Alcohol Commission Grant. She is very passionate about the education and awareness of the youth to promote behavior health on the state and national levels. She has attended Forensic Conferences and workshops and Township Government Television related to such topics. Deb credits her success to her unique blend of skills, ethics, and dedication. In addition to the WAoFP, she is a Rotarian and a Member of the Gwynedd Mercy University Alumni. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other likeminded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
