Deborah Carter is Director of Quality Operations and Compliance at Blue Buffalo, an international all natural pet food company. Deborah is responsible for developing and implementing the quality and food protection programs at the company's production and contract manufacturing sites. She is a skilled director, negotiator, innovator, and collaborator bridging diverse populations and enhances their ability to work together and solve problems. Deborah has a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Technology. She is affiliated with the Institute of Food Technologists, Minority Woman's Network, and the United Way. For her excellence she has been awarded the Colgate's Chairman You Can Make A Difference Award, the Networking Together Sisterhood Award, and Purina’s Quality Assurance Award. She dedicates spare time to youth mentorships, training, coaching, and giving back to the community.
