Dee Wilson is a Professional Volunteer with Safe Hands. She says she felt that she could help people with stress, which is a number one cause of death in the world. She believes it is important to have relaxation and rejuvenation, because it helps with the mind and for people to give a better performance in their jobs and daily lives. It is an industry that makes money, and she has a passion for it.
Dee says from childhood, she wanted to give something back and give something back to those who didn't have anything. Dee wrote an article for disableddrivers.org in 2016 and also published a poem. She says the key to her success has come from determination.
In the next three to five years Dee hopes to champion her cause and continue to help those who need it. She says her career highlight was hugging an Olympian and wearing one of her medals in a photoshoot. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
