Diane Rogers is the CFO for Titan Wireless Communications Consultants Inc. She has owned the business since 2005. She takes care of all financials, billing, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting and meetings. She says that when she realized she was too old for aviation when companies were deciding to go with younger people because they can pay them less, she decided to start her own business.
Diane’s expertise are in sales and purchasing. She is a member of Daughters of the Nile. Diane was voted Queen of the Temple for Daughters of the Nile and that was a very proud moment for her. In the next few years she says that she will either continue to do what she is doing now or possibly go own another company.
When asked the key to her success she said never listening when someone told her she couldn’t achieve something. She says when she started in aviation back in the early 80's she was told that no women were on the road as sales people and they didn't understand why she was so adamant about doing it.
Diane convinced them that they would have something else that nobody has which would be a woman in the field with the knowledge because men always expect men to walk into their office and the men enjoyed having a women come into their offices for sales. She used her femininity to an advantage and she had 4 multi million dollar accounts and she is very proud of that. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
