I am an experienced leader and was, up till 2014, the Chief Executive Officer of Dunas Douradas Beach Club in Portugal. I started post-collegiate career as a real estate agent and then advanced to director and partner in a real estate agency. I was then head hunted to one of Norway’s leading real estate companies as marketing director, but was relocated to be in charge of the company's development of a 140 unit luxury holiday resort in the Algarve, Portugal – the Dunas Douradas Beach Club, where I was appointed CEO and member of the board in 2007. I have held several board positions over the years in real estate related companies as well as in sports and culture. I am a member of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce. I held the possition as press spokes woman for the Norwegian Realtors Chamber in the 90-ties and have been honored as a guest speaker at the European Conference for Shopping Centres and at the yearly conference for "Women in Business" in Lisbon. I am considered an international level professional speaker. In 2010, I was honored with the European Residential Property Awards in association with Bloomberg/Kohler, Best Development Europe. I also received the World Travel Awards, Europe’s Best Apartment and Villa Residences in 2012. I hold a degree in Economics and Journalism earned at Oslo University College (HiO) and at the moment I am doing my Executive MBA at Herriot Watt University, Edinburgh. I am fluent in English and Norwegian/Danish/Swedish, in addition to Portuguese and German.
