I enjoy collecting minerals and fossils and enjoy introducing them to the students, especially the meteriorites! The English Lake District, where I have a home, is a constant source of inspiration; I've recently opened the house to 'guests' which has become an unexpected pleasure.
Having arrived in Hong Kong in 1969 and unable to work as a nurse, I decided to put my post graduate experience in speech, and my interest in English, to good use. I became a registered teacher and taught for 20 years before opening Ready To Learn. I decided to write my own material to provide a structured method based on experience and knowledge of ESL students. 2015 celebrates our 19th year.
