Elena Ghirardi is a PhD student who is currently pursuing her degree in Organic Chemistry. Currently four years into her studies, Elena's major emphasis is to research the scientific study of the structure, properties, and reactions of organic compounds and organic materials, i.e., matter in its various forms that contain carbon atoms. She has been actively involved in the elaboration and management of Spanish and European Projects, with regard to merely scientific aspects, in collaboration with international research groups. Her recent publication is titled Enantio- and Diastereoconvergent Cyclocondensation Reactions: Synthesis of Enantiopure cis-Decahydroquinolines. Elena is looking to expand her network and hopes to acquire a stabled career where she can apply her expertise and specialized skills within a company where there is room for growth and advancement. She is fluent in English, Italian, Spanish, and French.
