Elizabeth Sans spent three decades working on Wall Street. After starting a family, she became certified in yoga and pilates and began surfing in addition to learning about essential oils and alternatives to Western medicine. Ms. Sans had survived breast cancer, and wanted to really live. She began a small pearl jewelry business before deciding to make surfboards, which turned into a surf retreat business, Dryftwatersports. With this venture, Ms. Sans leads groups of women to exotic locations to surf and practice yoga and to experience new culture.
Ms. Sans holds her Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University and is a member of the Yoga Alliance. Also a prolific writer, she previously wrote for a magazine called "Quest" from 2005-2008 and an online publication called "New York Social Diary" from 2000-2010.
Moving forward, Ms. Sas plans to build an additional Surf Camp in Africa and to keep empowering and encouraging women. When not engaged with work, she enjoys yoga, surfing, and traveling everywhere in South America and Africa.
