With over 30 years of experience in her field, Ellen Karges is the Vice President of Quality and Regulatory for Centogene, AG, a genetic biotechnology company where she is in charge of all the FDA submissions, maintains creditations for laboratory and medical devices, is in charge of the country registrations, training the employees, and diagnostic and clinical trial compliance. To this role, Ellen brings dynamic leadership skill and unmatched expertise in regulatory compliance, international compliance, clinical trials, and FDA submissions. Ellen holds her MA in Pathology from Indiana State University and is a member of RAPS (Regulatory Agency Professionals) and the American Society of Clinical Pathology. Moving forward, Ellen hopes to become a consultant and mentor smaller companies, especially start-up companies. She also hopes to network internationally as much as possible with likeminded female professionals. When not engaged with work, Ellen enjoys reading, travel and enjoying time with her grandson.
