Emilia Restrepo is the Chief Transformation Officer for Postobon for over 25 years now. She is an entrepreneur who created the first digital agency in her country in 1994. She sold the company in 2012 and now she works for the largest beverage company in Columbia, it’s larger than Coca Cola. Emilia works closely with the CEO and President helping them to understand digital transformation and create new business models.
Emilia always wanted to be an entrepreneur. She studied business and understood its connection with marketing. She was confident she was going to be recognized and she was when she created the first digital agency. Emilia is noted for business strategy, sales, management, transformation and change management.
She has a Bachelor’s in Business Management from CESA in 1994. Emilia belongs to the International Advertising Bureau and is a Board Member there. She mentors and works with entrepreneurs. Emilia has written articles on digital transformation. She says the key to her success has been luck, hard work and passion.
When asked about her goals for the future Emilia says she worked all her life helping large companies get more involved in digital transformation and will continue to help board members and CEOs understand the process. She believes that she has been given value and will continue to grow within the field of Digital transformation. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
