Esther Mortimer has over 13 years of experience in her field. Currently, she is Pharmacy Technician/IT Analyst for Doctors Hospital, where she she builds the system, she trains nurses, she does urgent help, assist with inpatient medications and IVs, and generally runs the pharmacy.
Having always been passionate about medicine, she loved the technical side of the pharmaceutical sector and knew she wanted to expand her horizons and combine her love of technology with her mission in healthcare. She holds a PhD in Information Systems and a master's in Biomedical Informatics.
Looking ahead, Esther hopes to into consulting and to assist healthcare organizations with IT applications and training. She credits her success to hard work and dedication. Outside of work, she is an impassioned volunteer, donating blood and helping to fight poverty in Guyana, her native country.
