Erika Quintero is an engineer at Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Alimentación y la Agricultura. She is in charge of pesticides control for the farming region and also oversees approval on certain farming projects. Erika grew up on a farm and took a natural progression toward engineering and combined both passions.
Erika has a Master’s in Engineering from Interamerican University of Panama from 2003. Her area of expertise is in Agricultural Engineering specifically to the local farming area of Panama. She is a member of the Coalition of Agriculture Engineers.
In the future Erika would like to be responsible for a larger section of agricultural engineering in Panama. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
