With over 12 years of experience in her field, Esmirna Lopez Sanchez is the HR Manager for Freudenberg IT where she brings unmatched expertise in recruitment, training, payroll, compensation, promotion processes, position grading and succession plans to her role.
After receiving her Bachelor's in Foreign Trade from Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo in 2004, Ms. Sanchez went on to acquire her first job in a human resources role and decided to pursue her Master's in Human Resources. In 2018, she will graduate from the University of Barcelona Online Business School with her Master's in Human Resources.
Moving forward, Ms. Sanchez would love to be an HR Director, to begin consulting work and to acquire an additional Master's degree in HR. She hopes to network with likeminded female professionals, as gender equality in the workplace is of paramount importance to her and she was able to bring the percentage of gender diversity in her company from 8% to 21% in 18 months.
When not engaged with work, Ms. Sanchez enjoys American football, tennis, bike riding and dance. Also a passionate philanthropist, she volunteers with the Tetho organization through her company, a partnership that she created helping build emergency houses for the homeless and the needy.
