Esraa Daoud has over 10 years of experience covering the scoping, specification and supervision of ground investigation, ground improvement and pile testing, geotechnical interpretation and determination of geotechnical parameters, design management of causeways, foundations, geotechnical design of major structures such as commercial, retail, rail and highways projects, design of shallow and deep foundations enabling works and piling contracts for various construction schemes in United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Qatar. She has been qualified as a charted engineer with the Institute of Civil Engineers in the UK, and now plans to complete her PhD in engineering management.
Esraa currently holds her Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's in Construction Management from American University, which was completed remotely from the Middle East. She credits her success thus far to her continued determination and an affinity for challenges. She wants to show the world that women can do anything as she has faced a lot of discrimination in her very heavily male dominated field and wants to help make it better for other women and young girls who enter her field in the future.
