Esther Lokhorst is an international consultant who started XSkNOW (an affiliate of PD Partners started in 2011) this year and serves as a Managing Partner. The company currently operates in Belgium and the Netherlands and specializes in providing management consulting to small entrepreneurial companies and start-ups using such tactics as business case analysis, business model canvas and performance management. Its three focus areas are: strategy & commerce, operational excellence and human capital. Esther has been in the industry since 1999 and is passionate about seeing the ambitions of other companies and entrepreneurs come to fruition. Her expertise also includes performance management, process management, analysis and strategic development. Though she is currently settled in the Netherlands, she has traveled her entire life to countries including Chile, Spain, Egypt, the United States, and Columbia. Esther believes that this has fostered in her the ability to more comprehensively understand people's behaviors, thought patterns, beliefs, etc. Her educational background is manifold--she has studied in the U.S. and UK, having received an MBA and Master's degree in International Relations. She also studies avidly and often takes advantage of online learning platforms such as Coursera.org. An interesting bit of information about Esther is that she has a twin sister: Henriette Lokhorst. In her spare time, she boxes with her personal trainer as well as goes on walks. She has published two articles both on performance management, however, one was specifically geared towards communities in Holland. Esther attributes her success to her honesty, ambition and desire to help others achieve their goals. Later in her career, she plans to donate a percentage of her earnings to organizations that support the educational growth and development of children.
