Fadia Saad is an expert in the Bio Tech, Pharma, and Microbiology Fields for over 20 years with 8 of experience in education. She is an International Leader in her field and is currently the CEO and Co-Owner of her start up, PhytoCBx, which is based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and is focused on the development of Natural Plant Based Cosmetics, mainly lotions and creams.
Fadia is originally from Beirut and has studied and gained her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Microbiology from The American University of Beirut. She is also a very well educated Doctor having earned another Master's Degree (MBA) in Finance from HEC Montreal and a PhD in Microbiology from McGill University. Fadia has worked for some of the most prestigious pharmaceutical companies and also worked for The United Nations in Rome. She is an Inventor and holder of 2 patents solely and 2 more patents as Co-Inventor. Fadia has worked in all aspects of R&D from strategy, planning, implementation and roll out and has the leadership capabilities to drive a team to reach their objectives. She is also multi-lingual speaking 6 languages including English, Arabic, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. She has lectured at The University of Victoria and has worked as Chief Business Development Officer of Pharmaceuticals and even was the co-owner of a startup called Women's Equity Lab.
When not engaged with work, Fadia enjoys ceramic mosaics.
