Felicita Peña is the manager of El Zocalo. She has over 25 years of experience in her field. She says that she has been a small business manager and an entrepreneur her whole life. She has managed all types of business from manufacturing to retail to food industry. She says that working in the food industry has been the most challenging job she has ever had.
Felicita runs the family warehouse business and handles the majority of the administrative work. She also handles all of the legal aspects and operations of importing and exporting clothing for the business. Her expertise are in managing and she has a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship from The University of Miami in 1984.
In the future she says that she hopes to continue to grow and expand the company from a warehouse to a wholesale company. She attributes her success to her determination. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
