Flavia Moraes has over 25 years of experience in the professional sector, and is the CEO of FCM Consultoria em Sustentabilidade, a Brazilian constulancy focusing on sustainability and social responsibility. She works with corporations and nonprofits, as well as coordinates a volunteer program. Having herself started out as a volunteer, Flavia began organizing the volunteer program and eventually worked her way up the ladder. She holds a degree in Language from Presbyterian University of Sao Paulo Brazil MacKenize, class of 1978, and also completed a course in marketing. She is a member of the Brazilian Association of Sustainability Professions, and serves as a counselor and a professor at the University of Sao Paulo, and a business school where she teaches Strategy of Sustainability, and Ethics. Previously, she was awarded the Leader of Sustainability, and the Global newspaper named her one of their People That Make a Difference. She cites she has always been driven by a desire to be useful for society, especially as a woman, and is a passionate advocate for women's advancement in the workplace. She hopes to connect with fellow women professionals, to network and and exchange ideas with others, to learn from each other.
