Frida Karpulis-Pesin is the Executive Director of Mama Roza's Garden, a brand new, innovative childcare facility she is currently working on. They are the only childcare facility in their field that is open 24/7 to cater to the needs of the adjacent hospital staff that they serve. Their targeted clientele are the nurses who work various shifts throughout the day. While Frida has a concentration in business, she runs the facility with her sister who has had a concentration in children's education for 25 years. This makes for a really effective partnership.
Frida is a member of the Alberta Childcare Association. She has also been featured on her local news channels discussing education. By April 2019, Frida would like to have her first facility up and running. In 3-5 years, she would like to have another facility open locally. She notes the key to her success is learning as she goes along as well as taking opportunities that are out there to educate herself further. In regards to achievement, the highlight of her career is being responsive to her clientele, her constituents and their needs.
Fridas hobbies include traveling and she sits on the board of The National Jewish Women of Canada.
