Gisella Benavente is a longtime consultant, lawyer, expert in corporate compliance, and advocate for women in business and underprivileged children. Gisella’s continued advocacy and search for social and professional justice has given her a global view after gaining degrees in her home country of Peru as well as the United States.
Gisella’s current projects include an NGO based on education strategy and corporate identity, participation in Women in the Profession in Peru, which is a mentor program for female lawyers, and KANTAYA, another nonprofit organization helping underprivileged children receive higher education. These projects allow for Gisella to connect with the Peruvian community and give back through education.
After years of being a professional woman in a male dominated field, Gisella hopes to help other women overcome similar obstacles and network with those with aligning goals in her field. When she isn’t consulting or working with an NGO, she can be found running, preparing for her next marathon, or reading.
