Gail Courneyea is the President and CEO of Angels of Flight Canada Inc. She founded the very successful International company over 26 years ago. It is a health care company which pioneered the specialization of medical evacuation and intra-facility transportation of ill and injured persons both in Canada and around the world. It also provides a range of specialized healthcare services, transportation, education, consulting and management services.
Along with being a visionary, entrepreneur and pilot, Gail has also been a critical care registered nurse for the past 35 years. She is well known for her lifetime passion and foresight in the health care industry. She has spoken at public speaking engagements extensively throughout her career and most recently was a panelist for a discussion on Health Care fraud.
Gail consulted on many related projects in air and ground ambulance services for hospitals, governments, and corporations internationally. In 2007, she founded a Canadian based International charity known as the Global Angel Charitable Organization which assists persons who need medical transportation to appointments, repatriation globally, medical treatments and assessments outside of their province of residence. Her vision for the future is to continue to expand her business and charitable organization.
