Peace Hills Trust provides trust services from its corporate office located in Edmonton, Alberta. Georgina Villeneuve, Vice President – Trust Services, is responsible for the overall management of the trust book and is the lead due to her experience in First Nation trust issues, administration and taxation. Georgina brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the administration and settlement of First Nation trusts. She has over 18 years of experience in the trust industry and has been administering First Nation trusts exclusively for over 16 years. Georgina has been a key partner in the design and implementation of over 20 First Nation trusts. In the past year alone, she has worked with 5 First Nations on the design and implementation of their trusts. In addition to these accomplishments, Georgina takes great pride in the fact that she was instrumental in successfully amending 12 trusts so far in her career. Since joining Peace Hills Trust, trust assets under management have grown from $189 million to over $727 million and in Fiscal Year 2016 the assets are expected to top $1.2 billion. Peace Hills attributes the success of the trust department to Georgina’s strong commitment to client service.
