Isla was awarded a scholarship to obtain her Masters Degree in Intellectual Property at the prestigious Franklin Pierce Law Cente (now UNH School of Law) and was appointed trustee for 7 years. She was invited by the USA Patent and Trademark Office as a Visiting Scholar where she obtained a Certificate of Training.

With more that 25 years of experience rendering services in intelectual property. Her experience ranges from trademark, patent, industrial designs, interner domains and copyright. Heavily involved in major licensing and technology transfer negotiations. She has the necessary skills, knowledge and sensitivity to handle not only prosecution but the maintenance of the cases and anti-counterfeiting research reorts and raids and prosecution.
For most of her career, Gloria G. Isla's area of practice has been intellectual property and licensing and technology transfer. Gloria has worked in two big firms before starting her own firm 6 years ago. With excitement, Gloria looks forward to all the changes in her area of practice as Mexico has become member of Madrid Protcol. This enables her to think outside of the box and learn something new. Fluent in English and Spanish.
