Ghada Tarek has 11 years of experience in museums, documentation and collection management work. She is currently the Museums Coordinator at Qatar Museums where she supervises her team and drafts the section policies and procedures. She establishes standards for users to follow and helps facilitate the collection management systems.
Ghada holds her degree in Egyptology from Ain Shams University, which she obtained in 2004. She is also a member of ICOM. Also a dynamic speaker, Ghada currently she does trainings about documentation standards and appeared at the 2012 European register conference in Scotland and 1st EMu conference in the middle east. Moving forward, she plans to remain in her field and eventually ascend to a higher position.
When not engaged with work, Ghada enjoys reading and socializing.
