She is currently an adjunct professor at California State University, Northridge. Her role is focused on education, leadership and quality studies. Dr. Simpson has attributed her success to the vision she has held onto for years. She states: "My vision is to be endlessly committed to the children. I am committed to my vision in education. I can relate teaching to those who are well in life and those unfortunate to be able to afford an education. I am honest and always look to work with people who can help me expand my vision." Dr. Simpson has become a well known contributor in the area of education. Even though she does not promote herself, her actions and passion expressed towards her commitment has exclaimed far more then she could ever say about herself. This explains why why she is so well known in the communities, not just through her current role, but by being involved in volunteering for causes she believes in. Dr. Simpson aspires to continue to impact the world of education through university teaching. She also aspires to get involved with the Peace Corps.
