More than 25 years
Dr. Gillian White has both worked and volunteered at the Cancer Society since she has moved back to New Zealand. She started within the healthcare profession as a midwife and later went into research for newborns. After her research work she went on to work as a manager at a general practice within the research department and was asked to set up the research department at the University of Tasmania. Following that Dr. White went into consultancy where she helps within research, curriculum development, and wherever else she can be of assistance.
