With over 20 years of experience in her field, Gina Smith is a Utility expert with a degree is in Chemistry and a Master's in Information Systems from Colorado Technical University. She currently sits on several strategic boards and considers herself a technologist with a passion for pursuing innovate solutions to streamline operational efficiencies and customer centric benefits. Gina always keeps an eye on win/win solutions.
Currently, Gina is a Manager of Advanced Utilities Technology at Colorado Springs Utilities where she manages Engineering, Field Cruise, Business & Analytics Team, Data Mining and supports the Enterprises. She is a member of the Rocky Mountain Electric League and the Medering International Association. She is also a published author and has presented at several conferences in the Utilities Industries.
When not engaged with work, Gina enjoys travel and spending time with her three grandchildren. Also a passionate philanthropist, she volunteers time and resources to food banks, the Salvation Army and the Veterans Association.
