Ginny has a passion for event and strategic planning and fundraising specifically as it relates to childhood cancer. She sits on the advisory board as a business strategist for the Smashing Walnuts Foundation, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for childhood brain cancer. She oversees the planning and coordination of the Smashing Walnuts Foundation’s largest fundraising event of the year, the annual spring "Cracking the Cure" gala, in which over $200k was raised last spring for the foundations critical mission. Ginny’s involvement with charitable organization has gained her much recognition; she has been featured in the Washington Post and speaks frequently about cancer research and the Smashing Walnuts Foundation.
