She oversees the planning and coordination of the Smashing Walnuts Foundation’s largest fundraising event of the year, the annual spring "Cracking the Cure" gala, in which over $200k was raised last spring for the foundations critical mission. Ginny’s involvement with charitable organization has gained her much recognition; she has been featured in the Washington Post and speaks frequently about cancer research and the Smashing Walnuts Foundation.
