I am currently working as consultant for international and local projects focusing on Nonviolent Education and Human Security, addressed to migrants, refugees, especially women and children, but also people in social emergencies, in Italy and Turkey. I also work as independent researcher on conflict prevention and conflict transformation, and I am an active Human Rights Defender for Amnesty International - Bologna. I am looking for new job opportunities as consultant or new member of a team in humanitarian organizations and institutions, in order to share my expertise within the making and coordination of new projects involving Human Rights, Education and Development. I possess good knowledge of the education literature and international education movement, and have strong theoretical and empirical research background in the field of informal education and conflict analysis and transformation. I worked for many years as translator and interpreter for technical and scientific companies: I am perfectly fluent in English and bilingual in French. I have basic knowledge of Arabic, which I used to study for 6 years in Italy and Jordan between 2006 and 2011. I recently co-funded a local NGO – Hayat, and I act as Education Specialist for informal educational corridors. I design specific projects for Syrian orphans and mothers hosted in Gaziantep, Turkey, along with Amal for Education, another NGO working for strengthening and implementing educational projects in formal and informal schools in Kilis – TK- I am the current coordinator of an informal education project in Bologna, Italy, involving 10 schools, and almost 800 children and youth aged 8-18, promoting nonviolent interactions and preventing xenophobia, bullism and hate speech. I worked with teachers and families alongside with psychologists, cultural mediators and national authorities concerned with cyber-crimes to talk and inform about efficient ways of preventing burn-out, hate speech and to develop higher awareness on the parental role in critical contexts. I work for my local community developing good practices of inclusion and cultural relations with a wide network of partner associations, strengthening advocacy, political activism and partnership building. I have also organized and spoke at workshops and conferences on migration issues and hosting communities, facilitating discussion and agreement on the implementation of new common tools and standards. My experience in business companies enabled me to acquire strong skills in complicated organizational processes within international tenders in Algeria, Egypt, UAE. I can take care of complete documentation, produce minutes and summaries of commitments. I can read and produce reports and I have always worked delivering all assignments within deadlines and respecting the organizational rules. I am a very committed person, active around diversity and inclusion. Integrity is that core value that enables me to be a hard worker and a generous mother of two as well.
