Gabriela Ortega Larrocea is an Ophthalmologist for Begi Care and has been in this career field for over 25 years. She says her duties include seeing patients each day and performing surgeries with everything pertaining to the eye, diagnosis, prescribing medication and doing consultations.
Gabriela says that her primary surgery that she performs in Uveitis. She has her Post Doctorate in Ophthalmology from Universidad “NAM” in 1981. She belongs to the Sociededad de Mexico Optomologia and other organizations. Gabriela speaks at a lot of conferences and most recently she spoke to medical students about uveitis. She has written several ophthalmology book and recently wrote a 2017 textbook called Ophthalmology for Students.
In the next three to five years she says she will still be working in the hospital and continuing with her research and staying up to date with medical advances. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
