Goly Miro has owned her business Ayala for almost two years now. She designs all of the products and does the manufacturing and selling of the products as well. She says that her passion began when she was working with impoverished women teaching them how to sew and make a living.
Goly has always had a good eye for design and what people like in fashion and has been attracted to modernized things. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from Parsons School of Design in 1986. She has had several publications on online media. Goly says the key to her success has come from the passion she puts into her company.
The highlight of Goly’s career comes from seeing the women she has helped grow and become self sufficient and seeing how well her products have been received. She says in the next few years she hopes to focus on her online sales, grow her products internationally and try to expose the products in Europe. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
