Gracielle Pereira-Rocha has over 10 years of experience in being a very successful Academic Writing Specialist at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She conducts one on one sessions with faculty and grad students, and conducts a series of workshops from beginners to advanced writing. She helps students sharpen their writing skills, and is responsible for the marketing team and language center.
She coordinates translators and is affiliated with "Writing Center Journal." She is very active in public speaking; this includes round table discussions, conferences and 7 hour workshops. She is currently working on research and collecting data for an academic booklet.
In the near future she would like to train and recruit others to work in the academic writing center and hire a group of tutors. She would also like to have the role of Director of the Writing Center and pursue a PhD program. Her passion, and a drive a love for what she does is the key and sole foundation to her success. She enjoys helping others learn and providing guidance and knowledge for those who seek it. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
