Heather Adams (Connors) has over 20 years of experience in her field. As Vice President of Human Resources & Administration Bionano Genomics, Inc. She works as part of an executive team and oversees business administration and management of personnel, she also works in investment relations and organizational design.
Having started out in the science field, Heather holds a degree from Boston University, class of 1982. She transitioned into the biotechnical sector and from there into human resources and administration. She is a member of the San Diego HR Forum and SHERM, and co-authored a book on social responsibility.
Looking ahead, Heather wants to continue advancing as a business partner and promote the advancement of women on boards and in executive leadership. She credits her success to having strong leaders and mentors, and building a keen understanding of how to navigate the business. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other likeminded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
