I am a member and the chairman of the HeelDier coöperation, a health centre for animals in the Netherlands.
Currently Helen is the owner of OerVoer B.V, an organization that is dedicated to teaching people about high-quality food and supplement support for their pets. Her mission is to provide dog and cat owners with nutritionally balanced products and meats. It is important to pay attention to the dietary components such as organ meats, bones and muscle meat. In addition, the right balance of vitamins, minerals are also important to know. "Each animal has their own ready-made solution," Helen says. With over 30 years of experience in the Organizational Management sector, she tries her best to manage the company similar to Richard Semler's style. He operated Semco with respect for the earth and all living creatures through sustainable products. Prior to her work at OerVoer B.V, Helen began her career in the Health and Research sector at a hospital, working there for years prior to switching her focus to Information Technology. After her Information Technology studies, Helen went on to work for IBM as an outsourcing executive. After a life-changing event, she turned her interest to health and animals, pushing her to focus on Animal Therapy, and thus, OerVoer B.V was established. During Animal Therapy, Helen discovered that many dogs and cats possessed certain allergens and other ailments such as infections, obesity, gum disease, rotting teeth, and gastrointestinal problems. She hypothesized that many of these ailments were due to poor nutrition from the products that they were being fed. Helen attributes her success to her honesty and passion for her career, and is looking forward to expanding her company into a corporate health center for animals.
