Heiðdís Steinsdóttir is the CEO of Fegurð og Spa in Iceland. She has over 25 years of experience in her field and has owned her company for two years. On a day to day basis she primarily does Dermatude Meta Therapy and Éminence facial treatments, Epi Last permanent hair removal, pedi- and manicures, eye and eye brow tinting, body and spa treatments. She started her career as a one of the super model in her country. Won a Elite model contest held in Acapulco and a beauty contest that was held in Australia where she came up as one of the four runner up. The Glimpse of the cosmetology side she got through her aunt who is a cosmetologist. She says that she fell in love with the be beauty world then.
Heiðdís says that she is best known for her facial treatments and her students love her where she currently teaches cosmetology and operates her spa on a daily basis. She says that the highlight of her career has been opening her own spa and attributes her success to following her dreams and never giving up.
In the future she says that she hopes to own a bigger salon with more staff and to be a part of the future changes in the cosmetology industry. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
