Isoken Ibie is a professional actress who owns and operates her own production company, ISK Productions. Isoken is also very well known for her humanitarian efforts and contributions to her Benin community in Nigeria, West Africa. Her average day begins at 6am where she begins with her family and getting her children ready. She spends time running errands before jumping into the tasks for her production company. These tasks include creating and producing movies, task management and event coordination here in Ontario as well as Nigeria. She is best noted for her production, her acting and her humanitarian work. Her empathy allows her to tell stories, heal people, help them and provide hope. Isoken attended the University of Benin where she received her bachelors degree in theater arts in 1988. She has been granted interviews in areas of politics, entertainment and promotions for the movie industry. She has won numerous awards for her work as well as her humanitarian efforts. In the future Isoken sees herself working more in the entertainment industry as well as being a strong leader in the humanitarian community. She would like to go back and forth between Toronto & Nigeria to do so. She notes the key to her success from being true to herself and following her passion. She has a lot of compassion and empathy for people. While Isoken is most proud of everything she does, her proudest moment came from forging a connection and becoming a mentor to a suicide survivor. She was then able to move on and help her mentees younger brother when he developed a kidney disorder. Being that the children were orphans, she facilitated plans to pay all their medical bills as well as provide lodging for the brother/sister duo. They are both thriving today. Isoken would like to take advantage of everything the WAoFP has to offer, especially the networking. She enjoys traveling and reading in her spare time. She is involved with many charitable organizations and does volunteer work within her community in Toronto as well as abroad in Nigeria.
