Iman Oubou is the founder and CEO of Gen Next and Entrepreneurs en Vogue. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Denver, and a Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from Colorado State University. Iman has been Miss Colorado U.S International 2012 and recently became Miss New York, United States 2015. After moving to New York, Iman began her entrepreneurial career. Within 8 months she was crowned Miss New York. Gen Next is a Membership based organization of successful individuals, united by the shared goal of solving generational challenges in three areas: economic growth, education, and global security. With the collective influence of its network of Members, Gen Next aims to ensure future generations can achieve success by improving opportunity today. Since receiving her BS Degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from Colorado State University, then a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Denver, Iman has been using her public image and passion for science to improve lives around the globe. She has accompanied missions to South Sudan, Nigeria, Ecuador, and organized a mission to her native Morocco in 2014, where she worked with local hospitals in the Souss region. Iman continues to be a spokesperson and coordinator traveling to developing countries to help restore proper healthcare.
