Irina Kurkina is an internationally trained medical doctor currently serving as a Health Educator, Psychotherapist, and Instructor in Qi Gong at Sacred Tree Wellness. In this role, Ms. Kurkina brings over a decade of unprecedented expertise in wellness, oncology, and healthcare to her patients.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Kurkina worked as a General Practitioner after Medical school then an Associate Professor in the field of traditional and alternative medicine. After relocating to Canada in 2005, she continued her education, graduating from VCC with a Diploma in Instruction and from the Pacific Institute of Advanced Hypnotherapy as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. A prolific writer, she has been published in 32 scientific journals in Russia and is a member of the International Medical/Dental Hypnotherapy Association.
When not engaged with work, Ms. Kurkina enjoys reading and traveling to Russia, the Ukraine and Vancouver, Canada.
