For the past 20 years, Irma Egoavil has been a fixture in healthcare and pharmaceuticals. She is General Manager of Ferring Pharmaceuticals, where she is in charge of leading the company. She oversees the commercial officer and manufacturing sector, and helps to develop and drive their strategy, education, and media.
Previously, Irma worked as a clinical researcher and as a physician, as well as in marketing and patient advocacy. She is skilled in oncology, breast cancer treatment, and methodical diseases, and holds a master's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Barcelona.
In addition to her lifetime membership in the WAoFP, Irma is a member of the Pharma Association of Mexico, and Chamber of the Pharma of Mexico. She speaks publicly at conferences and seminars, and was recipient of the Award of Recognition for an Executive in Health by a local publication. Looking ahead, she will continue to impact the pharmaceutical sector and help to empower women in healthcare and business on the local, national, and global levels.
