From 1987 - 2004 I have been working in all kinds of jobs in hospitality and tourism, from hotel reception to event organization, and from airline support to reservation department. In 2007 we started our own holiday resort in Italy where we lived for 3 years. Ever since we have been hospiting our guests there in summer time. Since 2010 I organize retreats and sinds 2016 I train others how to organize stunning retreats.

Irma van der Linden, a hospitality professional for over 20 years, is the Owner of Retreat Academy, providing tailor made Italian retreats upon request and instructing others on organizing retreats. Alongside her husband, Ms. van der Linden spearheads two business out of the Netherlands handling bookings, payments, training staff and teachers, traveling, and personally hosting guests in Italy during the summertime.
Renowned for her work in hospitality, Ms. van der Linden is a member of the Women's Business Association and has recently received press is the prestigious publication, Panorama, on the success of her company, which reports a 97% approval rating from clients on the services provided.
Moving forward, Ms. van der Linden hopes to expand business to more countries including the USA, in addition to holding more seminars and conferences with high level coaches. In her spare time, she enjoys travel and reading and is a frequent contributor to the schools attended by her children.
