I am a qualified and motivated Project Management and Learning & Development professional with both technical and operational experience. My key strengths are in identifying appropriate projects, clarifying and understanding client objectives, applying planning skills and developing and delivering as required. In relation to L&D, implementing appropriate learning and development strategies to meet overall business needs is a must.The majority of my background is in project management and leadership, both delivering projects and teaching the merits of it - working across the globe, with diverse clients, to introduce the topic and guide many candidates from a number of Oil & Gas and Energy companies through to successful completion of their relevant accredited project management training, examinations and subsequent qualifications. I have worked in a project management consultancy role for a number of clients - from development of competency frameworks to analysis of project management processes. I also have management experience, most recently with a major sub-sea organisation, having specific responsibilities for their regional Learning and Development programmes for NSC region.For solid L&D experience, I have managed many projects and deliverables; including graduate & apprentice programmes, competency management systems, career development, training programme design & delivery, organisational development - in addition to standard operational activities. I had responsibility for a team that delivered numerous projects in a variety of areas at both local and regional levels within the organisation, working diligently and effectively to satisfy organisational needs.To summarise; I have a background in educational and client-based delivery as well as a technical background in both operational and project management; a combination which I feel enhances my ability to contribute and add substance to the service delivery that I can offer to any organisation.
