Jane Hart is currently the Vice President of Global Clinical Affairs for KCI. She is an expert in the field of clinical research on an international level. Within KCI, the Data Management, Biostatistics & Programming, Clinical Operations and Global Safety departments report to Jane. She is involved at the inception of the trial design, testing, data analytics, research and results, and finally to market. Within Australia and the US she has worked in the oncology sector for over 17 years and medical device for 5 years. Jane is of the belief that "the patient is waiting” for new treatments, better and alternative treatments. She does strive to always improve the process of obtaining evidence for safe and effective use of medical products. She is not only a consummate professional but a role model for her 3 daughters, ages 5, 10, and 12. Also an inspiration to women in healthcare and business, she has expert level experience in global studies, developing teams and working with small start-ups. Jane completed her Honors Degree in Australia at Charles Sturt University, where she majored in Medical Laboratory Sciences and graduated in 1996. She is a member of A.C.R.P. (Association of Clinical Research Professionals), a Member of The Project Management Institute and is PMP certified. She has attended and is a presenter at OCT Conferences, is also very passionate about Womens’ Breast Cancer Research, and also works with The San Antonio Food Bank.
