Janet has over 20 years amassing an expertise in marketing and brand creative for the sports, entertainment and advertising industries; through strategic planning, concept design, copy writing, execution and finish. She’s helped launch networks and kept world-renowned brands fresh in your minds. She has led creative marketing teams for the broadcast, film, interactive and advertising industries. Janet joined SMT,the pioneer in real-time on-screen graphics, tickers, clock-and-score, virtual insertions and social media integration for live televised sport and entertainment events, as Vice President of Creative Services in 2009 to form the SMT Creative Services Group responsible for graphic creation and manipulation of on-air packages, interface design, and virtual technologies. Shortly after arriving at SMT, she played a key role in securing new business with Cowboy Stadium’s Inaugural Opener and Season. Janet has built the team into a full service creative entity, (n+1) design studio. Prior to joining SMT, Janet was the owner, Chief Creative Officer, and the driving force behind Fuel, an internationally recognized, Emmy award winning marketing, branding, design, and production firm in the world of broadcast television, advertising and film. She was responsible for forging client relationships with television and film studios such as MTV, OLN, Cartoon Network, Buena Vista Pictures, The Disney Channel and Nike Films…with ad agencies such as Grey Worldwide, Wieden+Kennedy, Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi and J. She helped launch networks such as OLN and Singapore’s SportsCity, and created numerous branding campaigns for Nike, Coke, Pepsi, Target, and a family of General Mills Brands, Ocean’s Eleven, Turner Classic Movies and Showtime properties (which won her an Emmy nomination). She created interactive experiences for Disney’s Imagineering and Interactive divisions for online and theme park venues, and for Seattle’s Science Fiction Museum. She’s overseen creative teams specializing in strategy, conceptual writing, design, animation (2D and 3D), live action direction, digital photography, Illustration, CG modeling, interactivity and offline editing. She successfully launched an international outreach with contacts in the UK, China, Germany, Italy, France and the Netherlands while leveraging programs through the US Dept of International Commerce. In 2012, Janet had the honor of having her work included in a Motion Type exhibit in the Gutenberg Museum in Mainz Germany.
