Jane Wesenberg has been an attorney since 1986 specializing in commercial law. She has been working for Ernst and Young since 2011 and heads a team of 20 attorneys in the commercial law department. Her specialist areas include petroleum law, litigation/arbitration , international law and employment law among others. Throughout Jane’s career, she has balanced the demands of work and family obligations, and believes her insights can be of value to others. Jane is an appointed mentor for young female lawyers in Norway. Jane's interest in law started with human rights and women's rights. After pursuing law academically, Jane decided to tread the path of commercial law. She studied in the UK in the 1980’s before moving to Norway and re-training as a Norwegian attorney. She has worked in both public service and private practice, the last 16 years exclusively with commercial law. As a successful female attorney and partner, she enoys seeing her younger colleagues succeed under her guidance. Jane is most proud of building her strong legal department at Ernst and Young.
