With over 16 years of experience in her field, Jacqueline Dorssers is a Social Worker and Community Developer for Gabrico Consulting where she brings the utmost care to her myriad of clientele. In this role, Ms. Dorssers provides counseling and advocacy for people with disabilities and mental illness. After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Social Work with a minor in Community Development from the University of West Ontario in 2002, Ms. Dorssers worked with several private agencies before deciding that she could effect more change as a private consultant and coach. A dynamic public speaker, she is requested to speak frequently at conferences and associations, such as a recent summit on advocacy for those with downs syndrome. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Social Work. A passionate philanthropist, Ms. Dorssers donates time and resources to her local United Way and Hydrocephalus Canada. In her spare time, she enjoys movies, travel and crocheting.
